explanation —

our salute to the seasonal transitions we experience on the east coast. we consider the berkshire overshirt to be a staple for future collections and felt adapting corduroy to its first iteration would be unique. dubbed as an overshirt, we imagine this item to function more as a complementary layering piece. when deciding the name, we felt inspired by imagining a garment you’d find in the closet of the “brawny” paper towels guy. 

the corduroy is sourced in garment district, nyc from our friends at ak fabrics. the buttons offer a vintage cream mix coating to pair with the walnut palette of the body. the chest features dual elongated carrying pockets with a subtle rounded flap. bottom hem offers a curve accent reminiscent of traditional western shirts. this garment runs oversized and is made by our in-house production team.
